You should expect to be informed of the treatment strategies and why they are chosen for you. Psychotherapy will last 50 minutes of the session unless you agree to do intensive sessions. An initial assessment with one of our team could last 90 minutes. Psychological assessments can last up to 3 to 4 hours.

This is an excellent question. Many times psychotherapy is preferable to medication, and maybe even the best practice. Some people prefer medication to therapy and only one in assessment from one of our psychologists. In that case, we will refer out to a psychiatrist. We have no psychiatrist on staff. Many people require psychotherapy and medication for the best results. But a well-trained therapist is often the key to success, because they also help you identify who is on your treatment team including family, friends, church, or other support groups, as well as a holistic view of creating a wellness mindset for yourself.
